So, you may have noticed that there aren't too many events going on now with all of the holiday madness these last weeks in December, but I promise to post some of the interesting things that I do come across. In the meantime, I didn't want you all to think that I was slacking on the blog!
Now that you're here... I invite you to take the chance to really look at ALL of the cool stuff already posted up here. Two main places to check are the OF NOTE posts and the ONGOING posts. You can always search with a key word (such as museum or art or open mic) or the day of the week, abbreviated, as well. I think there are something like 50 plus posts in the ongoing category so you can search that and make some notes on events of interest. You can also use the envelope icon to email yourself or your friends any of the postings you see here.
Ideas for this weekend: It's supposed to be cold this weekend but you can still check out The Holiday Market Downtown on F St just across from the Verizon Center exit at Gallery Place. They have crafts, live music and food... and heat lamps too! You can also check out the American Art Museum when you are there and warm up in the atrium and at the cafe. Posts about both are up here you can refer to them for complete info. There are also many ongoing art exhibits you can check out this weekend and some neat eco-friendly stores you may want to visit for more unique holiday gifts. I'll post up more events soon! Just wanted to say hello so you all didn't think I forgot about you!
