The Tuesday Concert Series takes place every Tuesday and is a wonderful treat in the heart of Metro Center!
I just went to the concert today for the first time and was really impressed! What a GREAT city we live in! Thanks to funding by the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities and other generous supporters, we are able to enjoy fabulous world class performances throughout the city, even on a weekday lunch break downtown! Now that is something worth noting.
You can mark your calendars, every Tuesday 12:10pm - 1:00pm!
Also, every Wednesday you can stop by to check out the labyrinth walk, a walking meditation practice, 10:00am - 3:00pm!
If you work downtown during the week, come in, support the local music community, and be recharged with the gift of music.
The Tuesday Concert Series features vocal and instrumental soloists as well as musical ensembles from all over the Washington area. The music is mostly classical, but regular attendees have learned to expect the occasional surprise!
