Samuel T. Lloyd III, host
Live webcast from the Cathedral homepage »
How does stress influence physical health? Can the places where we live and work affect our wellbeing? Are some places physically, emotionally, and spiritually better for us than others—and how do we find them? Join Dean Sam Lloyd and scientist Esther Sternberg as they talk about the relationship between physical spaces and spiritual wellbeing. Washington National Cathedral is one of the locations discussed in Dr. Sternberg’s new book Healing Spaces. A book-signing follows the Sunday Forum discussion.
Sternberg’s film, The Science of Healing, airs on PBS stations nationwide in November and December, including on Maryland Public Television on Sunday, November 29, at 1:30 am, and Sunday, December 6, at 11 am. A segment of the film was shot at the Cathedral; View the clip »
