PAST: FILM: The Rodriquez Film Series presents "El Mariachi" at The Artisphere this WED, March 7th at 8:00pm, $6
Part of the Frida Kahlo: Her Photos Celebration
Wednesday, March 7th
Artisphere celebrates Mexican-American filmmaker Robert Rodriguez on Wednesdays throughout March to coincide with Frida Kahlo: Her Photos. This is one of a number of complementary programs celebrating the exhibit. Robert Rodriguez's directorial debut, El Mariachi tells the story of a traveling mariachi who just wants to play his guitar and carry on the family tradition. Unfortunately, the town he tries to find work in has another visitor... a killer who carries his guns in a guitar case.
